Arthur Terry PE Students Record Best Results Ever!

We are pleased to announce that last year's Year 11 GCSE PE cohort achieved the best results the department has ever seen!

The 2015 cohort of 44 students completed the course culminating in the 80-mark exam paper back in June. 100% of the students passed the course, with an incredible 91% of students achieving an A-C! (21% above the national average for last year's GCSE)

20% of the cohort managed to achieve an A*-A, again beating the national average of 19% in this particular measure.

Some of our highest achievers included:

Amelia Berry - A*
Cameron Collins - A*
Rebecca Gill-Parsons - A*
Joseph Haigney - A*
Phoebe Perks - A*
Georgia Davis - A
Joel Kirsten - A
Molly Shuttleworth - A
Jessica Tarr - A

Rebecca Gill-Parsons (pictured) and Joseph Haigney built on their success at the Arthur Terry Sports Awards 2015 by both achieving an A* in their GCSE PE!
The PE department would like to congratulate all of the GCSE PE students on their fantastic results and we hope to build on this years' success with our current Year 11 cohort!

WELL DONE TO YOU ALL!
