Broadway 0 - 7 Arthur Terry
The Arthur Terry School sixth form football team played
their first fixture of the season yesterday, an ESS District Cup Rd1 tie against
Broadway. The team comprised of students
from Y12 and Y13, came out of the game with a comprehensive 7-0 victory …and
now progress to the quarter final of the competition. An early goal from midfielder Liam O’Neill
helped to settle the nerves and get the team underway. Further goals from Freddie Barley, Ryan Mike,
Luke Bennett and 2 from Harry Humpherson helped to complete the rout. A great result against inferior opposition
gets the season underway on a positive note.
